The Association for Children with Language, Speech and Hearing Impairments of Namibia (CLaSH)
was based in Windhoek, Namibia's capital city. CLaSH was formed in 1989 as a self help group
for parents and became a well-respected service provider, registered as charitable organisation
with the Ministry of Health and Social Services (WO 70).
CLaSH worked to ensure that the children it represented had access to the support they needed.
The mission was:
CLaSH believed in an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to service provision and sought close
cooperation with Government ministries, non-governmental organisations and private businesses.
